I have never shared a message that was not for every human being. My messages are for Hindus, Muslims, Christians or Jews, Black & White and Asian too. HOWEVER… This morning this message is for my fellow South Africans.
We complain alot about country, yet to be honest, i think it is such a privilege to not just to be born in Africa, but to be called a South African. There isnt a country out there that is crime free or problem free, and some how, every country even comes with a free Julius. I keep saying that the grass is not greener on the other side, it’s s greener where you water it.
Having had opportunities to speak to a few people from various countries, I can with caution say, that there is something extra special about South Africans. South Africans have a fighting spirit. Not a voilent one! But a spirit that never gives up.
South Africa is where Hero’s are born, it is where stars are grown, it is where dreams are sown, it is where you make life your own.
I think the reason for this lies within the word: SOUTH AFRICAN.
The reason why South Africans never give up, is because when we are born, we are injected with the power of “I CAN” You are after all a South Afr I CAN. You are not a South Afr I CAN’T.
You were brought up with the belief that you can, and no matter what adversity you face, you can still overcome it. Even if it means being locked up on Robbin Island for 27 years.
Being a South African means you are supported in your dreams, it means you matter. It means you are special. It means opportunities are infinite. It means you get to dare to share your magic.
Remember that you are a South Afr I CAN.
It all starts with I think I can.
I think I can becomes believe I can.
I believe I can becomes I know I can.
I know I can becomes…. I CAN.
According to the International Peace research done in the middle east, it takes the square root of 1% of a population of a city/region/country to think thoughts of peace to influence the city/region/country. This is all scientific research done. So if we have 40 million people in our country. All we need are are 700 people with the desire and intention to make our country even greater than it is. It all starts with you. What’s your excuse? BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE IN THE WORLD.
Proudly South African, Proudly Human,
I am South Afr I CAN
Love,
H
