No one is perfect. But everyone is beautiful

In the darkest of nights,
In the darkest of hours…
Even a million miles away,
In the centre of your heart there lies a
tiny light. A light that can never be extinguished… can be seen.

This light expands beyond you into the infinite universe. This light is love.
It picks up speed as it leaves you carrying with you all you are, your thoughts, your feelings, everything.

Before you can think that second thought or develop the next feeling, that light comes rushing back to its origin.
Like a wave…you will either drown or you will surf. Guilt, fear and shame will drown you; love, peace and bliss – and surfs up man.

Sometimes the tide is high.
Sometimes the tide is low.
Sometimes the tide knocks us over.
We can’t be perfect and right and good all the time. But we can ride the next wave… If we have the courage to get up.

Why am I using the ocean analogy?
Our emotions are like the ocean. They mostly ebb and flow, up and down.
Its difficult to control how you feel sometimes… Jealous, Angry, Greedy…
But you can control how quick you forgive yourself for having a weak moment and move on. Still waters take you nowhere.
Ride the next wave… Ride the next wave.

No one is perfect. But everyone is beautiful. Don’t forget that you are.
