Forget about being angry

Good morning,

Here’s something that will shift your life and bring tremendous peace…

I was being extremely caring and loving to someone (I generally am) and was in a great place inside. Then I got back home and I opened a cupboard to find something that belonged to this person that reminded me of something that happened in the past. A Course in Miracles teaches that you never see a thing as it is, but rather you see the past in the thing/object. Everything is linked to some memory until you break that link and form new ones or completely dissolve it.

So when I saw this object I became really upset. I was angry!!! Then I realised, that just a few minutes ago, I was okay with this person and now it’s all changed. I was very conscious of what was happening on the inside of me, I was in control so I calmed down very quickly.
I had just learned something extremely powerful and yet at the same time funny too!

I was enjoying this persons company because I had forgotten to be angry!

***I forgot to be angry***

I then thought, well if I had forgotten to be angry this time, I might as well always forget. How cool would it be, (and it is cool) if we forgot to be unhappy? Forgot to be depressed? Forgot to worry? Forgot to be scared? Forgot to get upset?

I was too busy being happy, too busy having fun, too busy being free, too busy relaxing. Let’s all be too busy being happy that we forget to be unhappy.
We all forget things. How many times have you forgotten to buy something from the shop and had to drive all the back?
The same way you forgot that item on the shipping list, just forget to be angry or unhappy.

I was just thinking, I lived about a third of my life. I got no time to be unhappy. I’m gonna just enjoy the rest of my journey.
