Good morning,
There was once a man who was angry with something. He was having a really bad day. To top it off, his 8 year old nephew was staying with him for the day and he needed to entertain him. So while reading a magazine, he came across a picture of the world. He tore the page off and further tore the page into many pieces. He handed the scraps of paper to his nephew instructing him to put the pieces together to reveal the world. The nephew was excited. The man thought that his home made puzzle would keep the boy busy for the rest of the day!
10 minutes later, there was a knock on his study door. “I am done,” said his nephew. “But how did you do that so quickly?” asked the man.
“Oh it was quite easy, “said the boy,” I noticed a picture of a man behind the picture of the world. So I put a piece of paper down and began putting the man together. When I was done, I put another piece of paper on top of the man and turned it around and I was done.” the boy said proudly… “I had the idea,” he continued, “that if I got the man right, the world will be right too.”
The man had tears in his years. His anger melted away. He just learned a very powerful lesson.
IF YOU GET THE MAN RIGHT, THE WORLD WILL BE RIGHT TOO.
Ghandi said it as Be the change you want to see in the world.
Too often we look at the problems as being outside us. When the truth is we are the problem. No one is doing anything to us, we are merely creating an experience through us. So no one is making us angry, they are just bringing what is already there to surface, to consciousness, so you can work through it and grow.
It is said that the source of your problem is rarely the cause of your problem.
Whatever you think it is, look again. Look deeper. For if you do not deal with the root cause, you will end repeating certain experiences and call it bad luck.
Take care of yourself, work with yourself, change yourself and the people in your life change with you. Your life is reflected in the top 7 people you engage with. So look at them and see where you are. It’s brilliant free feedback. They are you! Change and they change.
I hope you realise the power in these words. They are life changing.
Love,
H
