It is time to save yourself!

Good day,

We all want a prince charming or a knight in shining armor. (or princess)
Why do we have these desires? Well apart from the sadistic nonsensical fairy tales we read, the truth is that we all want to be saved.
So this begs 2 questions to be asked:
1. Saved from what ?
2. Saved by who exactly ?

The answer to the first question is infinite. But they fall in two main categories . We want to be saved from the people in this world who bring us fear and pain and We want to be saved from the troubles of life.

The answer to the second question is our partners, friends, family and of course God.

Now…here’s the eye opener or heart opener. No one is going to save you. Not even God. That’s not to say he doesn’t want to. Its simply because God doesn’t need to. I don’t believe for a second that God sent you to battlefield earth unprotected. All you ever need to overcome all adversity in life is within you. All the tools, the answers, the guidance. Its all within. Including all the happiness, joy, bliss, and love. If you seek these externally you drink from the finite chalise. Whereas if you seek these internally, you will find an eternal ever flowing river of love and happiness.

Only you…can save YOU. You are your own Hero. We praise and give honour to so many heroes of our world. The Mandelas, the Mother Theresa’s, the Gandhi’s. But when last did you honor you? When last did you give yourself credit for all you have achieved and all you have overcome? The battles you have won internally and externally?
You are a hero in your life and you will always be the hero. Knights in white horses(people,things) come and go. But you will never abandon you. One person who is always there in the good times is you and guess what, you are there too in the bad times.

Realise that you are the only real source of power and happiness and never again will you feel powerless and unhappy.
Today, take the time to honor, celebrate, love and cherish you.

When you celebrate you, the Universe will join the party. And just so you know the Universe parties hard!
