Self Worth vs Self Value

There’s a difference between self worth and self value. At first glance it appears to be just synonyms, but each are entirely different concepts.

Each and everyone of us has the exact same self worth. When we are born we equal in worth. We are worth more than a mountain of gold. True be told, we are priceless. This is the truth of our worth.
As we go along into life, we decide to put a price tag on ourselves. This we term self value. It is the value that you place on yourself, that is independent of your self worth. Some people’s self worth = self value. Most people I know, their self value < self worth.

Let’s use a simple analogy.
We are all diamonds. Each worth R10000.
However, some of us think we are imitations and sell for R 100. Some think we are the real deal, and sell for R10000.
In this case, R10000, is your self worth.
R100 is your self value.

How you value yourself will determine how you experience your life. Shopping at PEP stores is an entirely differently experience to shopping at Truworths.
If you were an item of clothing, where would you ideally want to be?
People treat you according to you self value.
It is not that you aren’t a powerful human being capable of doing incredible things.
It’s simply that you think you are NOT.

Increase your self value and you open yourself up to infinite possibilities.

Have a brilliant day.

Love,
