Wanting to know the answer to this question is probably why you are unhappy with your life! This is no joke.
Why do you want to know about the chicken and it’s agenda? What does its reason to cross the road have anything to do with you? Why don’t you mind your own business?
How often to be waste precious time by thinking about other people’s drama and point fingers at other people, or talking about other people? We are so occupied with why the neighbours grass is greener that we forget to notice the running tap of water flowing from our yard into his.
If you want to be happy, mind your own business. The only time you become concerned about someone else is when you are going to support, love, and serve them.
One of the reasons why we talk about other people and are concerned about other people’s business is because our own lives are messed up. So we look at how bad someone else is so we feel we are better. Just because someone does things worse than what you do, does not make you are good. You are good not because someone else is bad. You are good if you have love in your heart.
You cannot make your light shine brighter by extinguishing the light of someone else.
Every time we think or talk about someone else we give away a part of our energy to them. After a good gossiping session you may think you feel great, you confuse this with entertaining yourself, and then you crash. You may even become sick. You drain yourself of life force.
So why did the chicken cross the road?
I don’t know, and I don’t care to know. This is the chicken’s business not mine. I want to know why I am crossing the road. Answering that question adds value to my life.
If you want to be happy for the rest of your life, don’t mind someone else’s business.
Affirmation for the day: I focus on my own life and I only become concerned with another if I wish to serve them.
